Stacked accounts
Your employer may offer an HSA with an FSA or HRA, a stacked account, in the following circumstances:
- With post-deductible HRAs and FSAs, in which the HRA or FSA only provides benefits after the annual health plan deductibles are met
- With limited purpose HRAs and FSAs (ones providing dental care, vision care or both)
- With special purpose HRAs and FSAs (a combination of post-deductible and limited purpose accounts)
